The Problem
The upper pane of this double-hung window came out of an ordinary backyard accident looking like a spider web — cracks running corner to corner, one bump away from falling out of the sash. The frame and the lower sash were perfectly fine.
What We Did
We secured the opening, measured the unit, and built replacement glass to the window’s exact dimensions. The new pane went into the existing sash with fresh glazing — frame, siding and trim untouched. Nobody tried to sell the homeowner a new window, because they didn’t need one.
