The Problem

A big fixed picture window — the kind that frames the whole backyard — had lost the seal on its insulated glass. The clarity was gone and the unit was no longer doing its job of keeping conditioned air in. On a pane this size, a full window swap is expensive and rarely necessary.

What We Did

We kept the sound aluminum frame and replaced only the insulated glass unit. The new pane was tape-set, squared, and sealed in place on-site. The before shows the freshly installed unit still taped while it cured; the after shows the finished window — perfectly clear, sealed, and ready to frame that view for years. No frame replacement, far less cost than a new window.
